Mission Statement and Purpose
Matthew 28:16-20
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Hey guys! As many of you know, I have a huge heart and calling to participate in missions. I hope to one day turn Rescue and Restore into its own independent missions organization and non-profit, working to end human trafficking and sexual exploitation, but for now I am using this website as a tool to raise support for mission trips as well as communicate with my supporters about my trips and what God is doing in my life.
So join me in reaching the lost and bringing hope to those bound by spiritual as well as physical chains. I pray that God will break your heart for the lost, like he has broken mine.

About Me
Hey! My name is Bekah and I am a college student with the hope of one day working as a bi-vocational missionary, and opening a safe home for boys who have been victimized by human trafficking in Ethiopia. I am currently pursuing a Pre-med Bachelor's degree in Microbial and Cellular Biology, as well as a Bachelor's of Religious Studies in Christian Leadership. I'm a foodie at heart with a love for people and traveling. I'm completely sold out for Jesus and plan to use His love to reach out to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Thanks for checking this site out and supporting missions! |
*Life/ School Update*
In December I decided that God was pushing me to pursue a different degree program/career, and that as well as a couple other accreditation related things led me to not continue to attend Central Christian College of the Bible. I was sad to see my time at Central end, but I am so excited for the next part of my education. Next fall I will be transferring to Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Instead of counseling, I will be pursuing a pre-med degree in microbial and cellular biology. I have felt God pulling me in that direction and I now know that it is time to take that next step. I only have about 6 classes to take in order to finish a different Bachelors degree (not counseling) at Central, so I am planning on continuing online at some point in the future to finish those classes and get a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies- Christian Leadership, from Central, in conjunction with my degree from ESU. I am so excited for what God has for me in these next couple semesters and in finding my way into medical missions in the future in healthcare, instead of a counselor.
*I received my acceptance letter from ESU on November 22, 2017.
*I received my acceptance letter and honors scholarship from the ESU Honors College on March 22, 2018.
*I began classes again at CCCB online Spring 2019.
